DINING TABLE, c. 1933
Dining table — variant of the “Redhead” model — in walnut and solid oak, veneered with walnut burl. The rectangular base with a cavetto molding supports a cradle-shaped structure whose upper arms elegantly open to carry the rectangular top.
The tabletop incorporates two Italian-style extension leaves, with corners adorned with patinated silvered metal mounts. The surface is further enhanced by fine ivory stringing outlining a rectangular frame.
