'QUATRE MASQUES' VASE, c. 1920
Molded and frosted glass with brown patina. The vase features four stylized faces in relief spread across four circular medallions and framed by wavy hair and berries.
The model was created in 1911 and appears in the 1928 and 1932 catalogs, but was removed from the catalog in 1937. It was not reintroduced after 1947.
Model presented for the first time at the Salon des artistes décorateurs in Paris in 1911, purchased by the State two years later and now exhibited at the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris, inv. 19306.
