EUGÈNE PRINTZ

WALNUT DINING TABLE, c. 1935
With rectangular top and grooved belt opening in its center to accommodate four extensions (three redone identically) with four additional legs.
Lateral double arch base in walnut and oxidized brass with sponge on hemispherical bases in oxidized brass joined by a quadrangular spacer.
74 x 125 x 95 cm.
29 1/8 x 49 1/4 x 37 3/8 in.

The top measures 125 x 95.5 cm without extensions or 125 x 316 cm with the 4 extensions.
Stamped with iron in several places and numbered 6.

Table de salle à manger en noyer à plateau rectangulaire à ceinture rainurée s’ouvrant en son centre pour accueillir quatre allonges (trois refaites à l’identique) à quatre pieds supplémentaires.
Piètement en forme de lyre en noyer doublé par des arcatures en laiton oxydé à l’éponge sur bases hémisphériques en bois plaquées de feuille de laiton patinée réunies par une entretoise quadrangulaire.
Estampillée au fer en plusieurs endroits et numérotée 6.

- Sans les allonges : L. : 95,5 ; l. : 125 cm.
- Avec les quatre allonges : L. : 316 ; l. 125 cm.
