The collaboration between André Arbus and Vadim Androusov gave rise to furniture that transcends utility to become true works of art. Each creation is an exceptional piece, where the refinement of Arbus’s architectural vision meets the sculptural force of Androusov’s ornament. A unique example in parchment, today preserved in the collections of the Mobilier National, illustrates this singular alliance as our exemple.

For Arbus, furniture was not only decoration but also a statement of French cultural identity — the defense of French industries and genius, reaffirming the timeless relevance of French classicism. In the hands of Androusov, ornament became a living language, a sculptural expression perfectly integrated into form.

This commode, in black French polish with bronze mounts, embodies that dialogue: a sophisticated creation standing at the crossroads of tradition and modernity, conceived as much as a unique sculpture as a piece of furniture.
