Precious rectangular lacquered wooden box with a lid, crafted using a Japanese technique in which a gold leaf is embedded beneath torn lacquer, allowing it to emerge through subtle plays of texture and transparency, in warm shades of brown and orange.
H 8 - W 12 - D 12 cm.
H 3 1/8 - W 4 3/4 - D 4 3/4 in.
