Provenance

Georges Villa's old collection.

Born in Montpellier, Louis-Émile Villa (1836-1900) was a draftsman, illustrator and personality of the Roaring Twenties of Montmartre. Our work comes from the former Georges Villa collection, descendant of Louis-Émile, who had kept the collection in the family home of Iloud in Haute-Marne.
