The tabletop incorporates two Italian-style extension leaves, with corners adorned with patinated silvered metal mounts. The surface is further enhanced by fine ivory stringing outlining a rectangular frame.

Stamped “Ruhlmann” and inscribed “Made in France” in several places on the underside of the top, along with the stamp of the B. workshop.
