PAUL FRECHET

A Macassar ebony veneered vanity set on four tapered legs. The two front legs have bones sabots.

Total height with mirror : 122 cm. ; L: 86.5 cm.
Mirror height: 49 cm., D: 45 cm

The front of the dressing table opens onto five drawers, four of which are arranged in pairs on each side, decorated with bone fillets and draw knobs and lined with velvet inside. The central drawer has a bone ring.

A round pivoting mirror on a doucine base rests on the top.

The use of Macassar ebony, the shape of the legs, the arrangement of the shagreen and the shape of the mirror are all directly influenced by the furniture of Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, for whom Paul Fréchet was a designer.
