Galerie Marcilhac - Paris

November 21st 2013 to December 21st 2013

The exhibition of one of the most sought-after glassmaker of the twentieth century, very little known to the general public and much appreciated by collectors. After the success of his retrospective at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Troyes (his hometown), the exhibition is prolonged and scheduled for March 2012 at the Gallery Marcilhac simultaneously to the release of the catalog raisonné of the artist's work by Mr. Felix Marcilhac.

"To work the glass, it is therefore to blow while turning it, it is to model it while it is alive of the life that gives it the fire. It is sometimes by a granted and measured freedom, to leave it to extend or widen, sometimes to constrain it by the instruments which embrace and stretch it ... ". Maurice Marinot, in L'amour de l'Art, n ° 5, September 1920.
