EDGAR BRANDT (1880-1960)

Console table , Circa 1930

Console with a trapezoidal Portor marble base supporting a U-shaped base made of five curved steel slats, engraved with a geometric pattern and linked together by five perpendicular polished slats.

The rectangular top, 8.5 cm thick, is also made of Portor marble.  

One of the curved slats is stamped 'E. Brandt'.

Origin

From a flat in the Walter buildings, collection of Mr. X.
