Console "Peacocks", circa 1927

Console with a rectangular black marble base and top from Belgium. 
The legs are formed by two peacocks in white stone contrasting with the black marble slabs at the back.

History

Commissioned by the decorator Marcel Coard in 1927-1928 for a castle in the south of France.
