In wood lacquered black nuanced, with silver background, matt black and torn off.
Signed Jean Dunand on the lower right and stamped with iron under the base "Jean Dunand Laqueur".

History

The subject shows two kneeling figures, adorned with jewels designed by Jean Dunand and geometrically decorated fabrics evoking the exoticism dear to Dunand at that time. The panel is framed by a rectangular structure with a black lacquered wood recess, resting on two half-cylindrical legs with cut-off sides.
