Cast iron of the period.
Monogrammed "AG" and numbered "054" on the foot.
A certificate from the Giacometti Committee comes with the lamp. 
The lamps and the floor lamp were created by Alberto Giacometti for the decorator Jean-Michel Frank around 1935-36 and published in bronze from that date.

This work is listed by the Alberto and Annette Giacometti Foundation in its online Alberto Giacometti Database (AGD).
Higher of the lamp with the shade is 70 cm.
