History

These lithographs are part of a serie of ten original lithographs among which five were engraved in color and five in black and white. Paul Jouve specially created them for Charles Terasse’s book. Once the book was published, Paul Jouve made the printer Lucien Détruit engrave thirty other copies, of artist's proofs and on Japanese paper. Each proof was sealed, signed and justified by the artist.
