HistoryThis etching is part of the "Album Paul Jouve" (Apollo Editions) for Georges Weill, including a series of 10 etchings, drawn apart, and a frontispiece. A few luxury albums were also edited. Presented in a box made by Hermès they are wrapped in pigskin, angle cloutage and gold-plated bronze clasp, signed with the golden stamp of Hermès Paris. The frontispiece of the door knocker was remastered on the black cover with etchings. Some copies, 3 or 4 of each, were identified and drawn on parchment.
