Set of four oak chairs with rounded backs, scrolled uprights supporting the armrests resting on brass shoes. Covered in off-white mohair.

History

This model of chair was used to decorate the car lounges of the train of the President of the French Republic René Coty in 1954. They were also designed for the bedroom, dressing room and luxury cabin of the "Versailles" apartment on the Île de France liner, 1949.
