History

Miklos was commissioned this plaque by his friend Jacques André, director of the Franco-American Standard. In 1933, the oil company just ended the construction of a refinery with a very modern technology in Port-Jérôme (Normandy) ; at the occasion of the inauguration, Miklos' commemorative plaques were certainly distributed to the administrators of the firm, which explains the nominative inscriptions engraved on some of them, on the altar supporting the goddess' image.
