RUHLMANN & PORTENEUVE

Set of twelve chairs 'Palette', Circa 1933

The chairs are following the "gondola" model of Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, oncle of Porteneuve, and consist of two front legs with silvered metal shoes and curved and sloping back legs.
The gondola back is fluted.

This model of chair accompanied the table, also of a similar model, in the dining room of the Hotel du Collectionneur of 1925.

Stamped under the seat " Dessiné par Ruhlmann, édité par Porteneuve"
