Powder boxes, c. 1940

The first, in gilded bronze, features mother-of-pearl decoration based on a design by Jacques-Armand Bonnaud, depicting a royal bird. 

The second, in silvered bronze, features mother-of-pearl decoration based on a design by Jacques-Armand Bonnaud, depicting a dove carrying an olive branch in its beak. 

Each is signed "LINE VAUTRIN" on the reverse.
