ALBERT CHEURET
'HERONS' CEILING LIGHTS, c. 1925
Suspension in finely chased bronze with an antique green and black patina, depicting three herons in full flight, swirling around a central alabaster element. The birds’ wings, delicately spread, are composed of sculpted alabaster leaves, diffusing a soft and nuanced light.
The whole is suspended from a central bronze stem adorned with a stylized floral motif, blossoming at the top to form an elegant canopy cover.
