JEAN-MICHEL FRANK
SET OF THREE CHAIRS, c. 1925-1930
A set of three oak chairs, each with a slightly inclined square backrest and sabre-shaped rear legs. The generously upholstered seats and backrests soften the restrained geometry of the frames. Their clean lines and fine materials embody Jean-Michel Frank’s minimalist aesthetic.
