DOMINIQUE
SIDEBOARD, c. 1932
Cabinet veneered in Indian rosewood, resting on a plinth base clad in nickel-plated metal. The gently curved front is distinguished by the purity of its lines and its distinctly modern aesthetic. It opens through a pair of doors, each fitted with a lock framed by a nickel-plated escutcheon and a sculpted handle combining Indian rosewood and nickel-plated metal. Retaining its original key. The interior, entirely finished in sycamore, is fitted with several shelves and two drawers, creating an elegant contrast with the rich, dark tones of the exterior.
