'SUCENA' DRESSING CHAIR, c. 1918
Boudoir chair, model “Sucena,” no. 14 AR and no. 58 NR in the artist’s catalogue raisonné, in Macassar ebony veneer, with a low rounded backrest centered by an oval ivorine medallion and a bowl-shaped seat edged with small inlaid bone squares.
The front legs are slightly curved, terminating in ivorine sabots, while the rear legs are straight.
H 66 - L 36 - D 42, 5 cm.
H 26 - L 14 1/8 - D 16 3/4 in.
Stamped 'Ruhlmann'.
